Obituary of Brian Clare Loberg
Brian Clare Loberg, resident of Grande Prairie, AB, formerly of Poplar Hill, AB, passed away on Sunday, September 1, 2024, at the Grande Prairie Regional Hospital at the age of 62 years.
Brian was born July 21, 1962, in Hythe, AB. He graduated from Beaverlodge High School and went on to have an extensive career in the oil and gas industry.
The greatest and most abundant joy in Brian’s life was his family. His passion was spending time with his grandchildren sharing stories with them and of course, spoiling them!
He will be remembered by his children: Austin Peder Loberg, Erin Alexis (Ryley) Pierson, Nathan John Loberg, and Joshua Clare Loberg; grandchildren: Ronan, Keanan, Shae, and Odran; former wife Karen Loberg; his mother Clara Loberg; brothers: Roger, Rodney, Larry, and Trevor; sister Pam; as well as numerous other nieces and nephews.
Brian was predeceased by Johnny Loberg.
A Celebration of Life for Brian will be held on Thursday, September 5, 2024, at 1:00 pm, at the Valhalla Lutheran Church (AB-59) Valhalla Centre, AB, a time of fellowship and refreshments will be offered following the service. A private family interment will follow.
Memorial donations in Brian’s memory can be made to the Rising Above Northern Addictions Centre (www.risingabovegp.com), or any addiction-related charity of your choice.
